personal training

You have goals. We're here to help.

Personal training can be designed to meet a wide range of goals. Our coaches have experience working with a broad range of athletes including complete novices, post-partum parents, and competitive amateur and professional athletes.

We draw from our expertise in Strength & ConditioningOlympic Weightlifting, and  Powerlifting to build customized sessions to help you meet you goals.

Personal training can be a short term engagement or an ongoing series of sessions.

Past clients have worked with our trainers to:

  • Prepare for competitions and races

  • Build muscle in preparation for top surgery

  • Develop an exercise routine after a period of injury or inactivity

  • Learn and improve the deadlift, bench press, and squats

  • Learn and improve the clean & jerk and snatch

  • Gain overall and/or sport-specific strength and endurance

  • Improve cardiovascular conditioning

  • Stay accountable to personal fitness goals

Personal training can be scheduled for individuals or small groups. Sessions take place in-person at our facility in Oakland, CA.

Every personal training engagement starts with a free 20 minute assessment and consultation with Coach Brooks, our head trainer. During the consultation we'll discuss your current goals and ask about your past experience and injuries to confirm we're a good fit.
